Legal dispute: No 2027 Ashes Test in north England

A legal dispute over the 2023 Ashes allocation cost Hampshire £1m and has resulted in the cancellation of the 2027 Test in the north of England.

Hampshire challenged the ECB after missing out on hosting the 2023 series to Yorkshire, leading to a payout of approximately £1m in damages.
