India needs a good finisher and Bharti’s best suited for that role,” added Gawande.

The qualifier will be held at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore, from 18 to 21 June 2026, bringing together national teams from across Asia as they compete for a place on one of the region’s biggest sporting stages.

MLBB’s debut at the Asian Games in Japan reinforces the game’s globalisation strategy unveiled earlier this year. Following the Asian Games Qualifiers in Singapore, MLBB will make its European debut through the Mid Season Cup (MSC) at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 in Riyadh, further accelerating its international expansion. In 2027, the M8 World Championship Finals will be hosted in Istanbul, Türkiye. Together, these milestones underscore MLBB’s transformation from a leading title in Southeast Asia into a global esports ecosystem spanning Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
