Afterward, Danhausen and the Minihausens handed the money out to the crowd.

Chad Gable defeated Penta to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Both men traded momentum in a fast and physical match. Penta hit a Penta Driver and several superkicks, but Gable refused to stay down. Gable answered with multiple German suplexes, a diving headbutt, and an Orihara moonsault, but he still could not finish the match. Penta also landed a flip piledriver on the apron, yet Gable survived again. In the closing moments, Gable countered another flip piledriver attempt into the ankle lock. He locked in the hold tightly and forced Penta to submit to win the championship.

Roman Reigns (c) vs Seth Rollins (WWE Men’s World Championship)

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins pushed each other to the limit in the WWE Men’s World Championship main event. They fought around the ring and through the crowd before crashing through separate announce tables. Both men survived big finishers, including Pedigrees, Blackouts, Superman Punches and Spears. The referee was accidentally taken out late in the match, but Roman stopped Seth from using a chair. Rollins hit another Pedigree and Blackout, yet Reigns answered with three straight Spears to secure the win. Bhiwani (Haryana) [India], August 3 (ANI): Commonwealth Games 2026 bronze medallist Seema Kaliramna received a grand welcome in her hometown Bhiwani on Monday and expressed hope that her achievement in women’s discus throw would help generate a similar craze for athletics in the region, which is known for its boxing culture.

“There’s an atmosphere of immense joy. Everyone, whether they know me or not, is very happy. The entire country is thrilled. Seeing all this fills my heart with joy; I am very happy. Earlier, Bhiwani was known for boxing, but now that we’ve won a medal in discus throw, I hope to see a similar craze for athletics here," Seema Kaliramna told ANI.

Speaking about her future goals, Seema said she hopes her journey inspires others to take up discus throw and pursue the sport.

“The goal is always to do my best. I also hope that my journey inspires someone to take up discus throw and excel at it. It would be wonderful if someone, in a future interview, says they were inspired by me. The aim is to keep performing at our best," she said.

Reflecting on the challenges faced by athletes, Seema said that struggles, including injuries and financial difficulties, are part of an athlete’s journey, but hard work despite such challenges ultimately brings results.

“Every athlete’s life is marked by struggle–be it injuries or financial challenges. An athlete’s journey is never easy. Everyone faces struggles to varying degrees. What truly matters is the hard work you put in despite those challenges; that’s what brings results," she added.

Meanwhile, Seema’s coach and husband, Ravinder Kaliramna, said her medal was a significant achievement for Indian athletics and added that preparations are now underway for the upcoming Asian Games and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

“It’s been very good. As you know, in athletics, there was only one medal for India in women’s events, which Seema won. We are celebrating this achievement with great enthusiasm. As you’ve seen, everyone is enjoying it," Ravinder told ANI.

“Currently, we are preparing for the Asian Games, which are scheduled for September-October. There’s about a month left, so all efforts are focused on that. This serves as a foundation for the Olympics. It all begins here. We’re looking ahead to the LA Olympics, and our preparations are underway," he added.

Kaliramna finished third with a best throw of 58.65m. She rose to the occasion with a strong display to earn a well-deserved podium finish. Jamaica’s Samantha Hall won gold with a best throw of 61.66m, while Canada’s Julia Tunks claimed silver with 60.67m.

Kaliramna began her campaign with a foul but quickly bounced back with a 57.32m effort before delivering her medal-winning throw of 58.65m in the third round. (ANI)

Melbourne [Australia], August 3 (ANI): Indian origin, NSW’s Neel Patel is among 16 of Australia’s most promising young cricketers selected for next month’s Australia U19 Men’s multi-format tour of India, with Cricket Australia today announcing the squad set to take on India U19 in five matches across Rajkot and Ahmedabad.

Cricket Australia has announced a 16-player Australia U19 Men’s squad for a multi-format tour of India next month, the release said.

The squad was selected by the Youth National Selection Panel and features some of the most promising young talent from across Australia.

The four-week tour will provide valuable experience in subcontinental conditions, with Australia to play three 50-over matches and two four-day matches against India U19. Matches will be played in Rajkot and Ahmedabad from 13 September to 9 October 2026.

The squad will be led by Head Coach Tim Nielsen, who is currently overseeing the Cricket Australia XI program against Bangladesh in Darwin.

Sonya Thompson, Cricket Australia Head of National Development, said, “We are really pleased to provide the opportunity to some of Australia’s best young players to continue their development as part of our pathways program. Touring India and playing against high-quality opposition in challenging conditions will be a valuable experience and test the players technically and mentally across formats."

“We are also delighted to have Tim Nielsen leading the program. He brings a wealth of coaching experience and has a deep understanding of player development," he added.

Justin Greaves made an unbeaten 64 to steer West Indies to 239-5 at stumps on a rain-shortened opening day of the second and final Test against Pakistan in Trinidad on Sunday.

After a match-winning display with the ball in the first Test last week, Greaves displayed what has now become his trademark ease and composure at the crease in a battling knock at Queen's Park Oval.

His only error of judgement came just after reaching the half-century mark when opposing captain Babar Azam put down a straightforward chance at leg-slip off spinner Sajid Khan.

Greaves at that time was almost hobbling after a left leg injury sustained while completing a sharp run that necessitated lengthy treatment on the field.

His sixth-wicket partnership with Roston Chase (36 not out) was worth 66 runs at the close of play and Greaves will be hoping for a return to his usual athletic mobility when he resumes the innings with his captain on the second morning.

He had come to the crease in mid-afternoon at 91 for three as Kavem Hodge became Khan's first wicket. When Amir Jangoo fell to a leg-side catch to give debutant pacer Ubaid Shah his first Test wicket with the first ball of a new spell, Pakistan sensed the chance to break the back of the West Indies resistance.

However Greaves and Shai Hope provided a measure of stability in a 53-run stand until seamer Mohammad Ali, the most impressive of the bowlers on the day, bowled Hope off the inside-edge for 29 to leave the innings in the balance at 173 for five.

Pakistan omit Abbas

Earlier, Pakistan's bewildering decision-making - on and off the field of play - highlighted a rain-affected morning session.

Mohammad Abbas, the tourists' best bowler by some distance from the 90-run defeat in the first Test, was dropped despite a match haul of eight for 85, including five for 22 in the second innings.

A second Pakistani debutant, Awais Zafar, got his chance due to the finger injury sustained by former captain Shan Masood while compiling a determined century in the first Test.

As easily as the runs flowed, especially off King's bat, in the early exchanges after Chase opted to bat first, both could have been dismissed earlier with more attacking tactics as they each benefited from edges at catchable height through the vacant third slip position.

Mohammad Ali was even pleading with Babar for additional support in the slip cordon following the third of those fortunate escapes.

King's luck ran out though following the 90-minute rain break as Usman snared him for his first Test wicket, leg-before for 46.
